About Revolution Music...

Revolution Music
Revolution Music was formerly known as the Crosskeys Inn
On the 25th August 1787, the poet Robert Burns stayed here on the first day of his Highland Tour.

Using his newly-acquired diamond stylus, Robert scratched four lines into the front window pane. They ask for men who treat women well to be rewarded:

'Sound be his sleep and blythe his morn,
That never did a lassie wrang;
Who poverty ne'er held in scorn,
For misery ever tholed a pang.'

The window is preserved at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum in Alloway

Revolution Music is located on the High Street in Falkirk Town Centre, opposite the Callandar Square Shopping Centre
