Terms And Conditions Of Use

Payment Terms:

We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch, Maestro, Cheque, (Please allow up to 10 days for cheques to clear), or postal order. We do not accept payment by bank transfer.

Delivery:

Generally, orders are dispatched within 2-3 working days. (Our office hours are 9am - 5.30pm Monday-Friday). In the event an item is out of stock we will contact you to advise of any delays or offer an alternative. Smaller items are dispatched by Royal Mail 1st Class Post. Larger items will be dispatched by our courier - CCL/Businespost and are fully insured whilst in transit. Please ensure you check the items thoroughly before signing for them - if the items are damaged on delivery, please ensure you sign for them as ' damaged' . Goods ordered over the internet cannot be collected from our store.

Our courier - CCL/Businesspost - only delivers Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm. They are unable to specify a time of delivery and do not deliver at the weekend. If there is no-one available to receive the goods then a card will be left with the local Businesspost depot details for you to contact them to arrange a suitable delivery date. They will then hold the goods awaiting your response. Once you have contacted them and they have made a second delivery attempt, if there is still no-one available to receive the goods then you will be required to uplift the goods yourself from their local depot or pay a further charge to have the goods re-delivered. We require a signature upon delivery of the goods. Our courier CANNOT leave the goods without a signature. If they are not collected, they will be returned to our warehouse and you will be credited for the cost of the goods - NOT the shipping charges.

PLEASE NOTE - Please ensure you choose the correct postage service in your shopping cart. Delivery to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and the Islands may carry an additional charge. This charge is levied by our courier. If you are unsure which service to choose please call us on 01324 632 699.  We are unable to deliver to Southern Ireland or the Channel Islands.

Goods

We can not warrant the suitability of goods for a particular purpose, and you should check specifications and compatibility with ourselves or manufacturers before ordering. All goods are offered for sale subject to being unsold at time of purchase. In the event of non-availability of goods, We will contact you to arrange alternatives or a refund where applicable. All prices quoted include VAT at the current rate of 15% All goods remain the property of Revolution Music until paid for in full. Prices and manufacturers specifications subject to change without notice.

Warranty:

All goods are supplied with One Years Manufacturers Warranty. In the event of any problems simply contact us by phone on 01324 632 699 or email us at info@revolutioninstruments.com quoting your receipt number.

Risk:

Once we have delivered the goods to your door you are responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.

Returns:

In the unfortunate event of any failure of any item purchased the following will apply: If an item is faulty on delivery we will send an immediate replacement (if in stock) and collect the broken item. Otherwise simply send the item back to us, packed to the same standard as you received it, and we will repair (or replace as appropriate) and return at no cost. If you are unable to send it to us we can collect for a charge of 15. If we have collected any item which proves not to be faulty, then the customer shall be liable to pay for the uplift and delivery charge (usually a total of 20). If we have arranged any uplift for ANY reason from a customer, and the customer is not at home at the agreed time, or the goods are not able to be collected due to a lack of packing then we will either charge a 6 fee (charged to us by our courier), or ask that the item be returned by the customer directly. ALL returns must be authorised by email or phone by Revolution Music before sending back to us. This is to ensure correct tracking of your goods, and any refunds or replacements that may be given.

Consumer Protection:

In accordance with consumer protection (Distance Selling) regulations 2000, the consumer has seven working days in which to cancel the contract of sale. The goods must be unused, boxed, with all accessories, and in 'as new' condition. Any claims for damage, non-functionality and mis-shipping must be made within 7 days of receipt. After this date, faulty goods returned within a reasonable time will be refunded or replaced as compliant with the amended Sale of Goods Act 1979. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 25% on goods which prove to be non-defective. You are responsible for ensuring safe delivery of the returned item. In the case of a refund (when the sale has been cancelled) we will NOT refund the initial carriage charge. Also we will charge a collection fee (usually 15) if the customer cannot return the goods themselves. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. All goods are sold subject to the The Sale of Goods Act 1979, the Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994, the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977. E&OE. and the Distance Selling Act 2000.
